Below is a summary of the Telluride regional market. 2019 was a very strong year for the region, but please note that some of the numbers in this report are inflated due to small sample sizes. For example, the land in the town of Telluride did not go up 179% last year, there were just very few sales and they were for more valuable parcels than in 2018. The same can be said for the Mountain Village home market, while it was very strong and the sales above $5,000,000 were the best in recent years, the prices did not go up by 59%. This report does, however, show a healthy market overall, an especially strong higher-end market, and continued growth of real estate in Telluride. All of these factors show that Telluride continues to be a great place to enjoy a mountain lifestyle and an excellent place to invest in property.
